My surgery was a wonderful success. My lymphnodes and everything around it came back negative which means i wont need radiation or kimo. Holy crap I am so thankful for everyone who kept me in your prayers and thoughts and for those who put me on the prayer list. I know that this experience of the surgery was just the beginning of a new direction in Sean and I's life.
I know there were dozens of people who were thinking of me, and I know it. Because the day of my surgery that I was scheduled to go in, once I got my IV and my little hospital gown on, I was alone for only about 20 minutes. During that time I wasn't anxious or nervous not even butterflies. I had never felt so safe and watched over then that day. Both of my breast surgeon and my reconstructive surgeon wanted to be there for the whole procedure. I was told having the reconstructive surgeon there wasn't normal, but I know that my Heavenly Father knew that with all the prayers that He was receiving that it was the right thing to do.
I know that having a bilateral mastectomy was the right decision for me. Now the hard part for me is accepting the changes that I need to do for myself for the next 5 years.
Life is crappy, but at least I have mine.

Get to know me, and I'll return the favor.
Everyone needs an outlet to getting out the things they think in their head or dont want to write down on paper. This is kinda my personal journal of life and the experiences that have occured in Sean and I's life in the last 3 years. I thank my Heavenly Father daily for the man that I know I was meant to spend the rest of my eternity with. I am thankful for his trials and my trials that we both faced before we made the commitment to charish and love each other through sickness and in health. Those trials made him the man he is this day and the trials I went through before made me I hope into the woman I am today. He has been very speacial to me since we first met each other when we were 11 in 7th grade. I knew from the first time I saw him that he was supposed to be mine. Thank Heavens for the Lord and the reasons He does what He does.
