My boo with A Boo Boo

So its 6AM on Thursday morning while Havik and i do our regular rollerblading on Lindsay road from University to the McKellips.

Well this morning there happened to be a stray Australian Shepard walking down Lindsay.
So me being the good dog owner I am, stopped with havik because he was headed in our direction and I just knew that there was going to be something bad happen. Havik was great sitting next to me being patient. So i thought if I stay this far back then the dog will hopefully go down one of the residential streets and we can be on our way.
Well the dog finally noticed us and he bolted across the street, sh**!
i was so scared cuz here came the flow of traffic and he barely missed a car, who honked its horn at it. Yeah like dogs know what that means, its called pay attention drivers and use your breaks and slow down.
Well while the dog bolted across Haviks leash had a knot in it where he had decided to chew through it waiting for me one day.
Yeah so he took off after the dog across the street and me on Rollerblades can only do so much, so here's the news, Havik got hit by a car! yup i saw it in slow motion too, a putt putt peanut red truck with two Mexicans in it. Sorry i have to tell you the race because they didn't stop after they hit him, No they kept on driving, I'm sure they had something so important to attend that they couldn't even stop and see how the dog was after they hit it. Its not like he was a stray, I was literally 5 feet from Havik as he got hit.
So Havik got side swiped on his head from the tire, a few more inches and he would have got ran over but he missed the front of the tire and just got rubbed on the side of it. i had an opening an crossed the street while the dogs looked like they were gunna cross the street, but i talked as calmly as i could so Havik would come to me and the dog took off into Mt. View parking lot. This took place directly where the entrance is of Mt. View. Not the section where the light is but the one closest to the seminary building.
Havik came to me easily because I remained calm enough. We took a rest on the median of the entrance to the student parking lot.
It looked as though no serious damage, just lots of black stuff on his side, a little blood my his jowls but that's it.
Called Sean and he couldn't do anything, so then i called Vanessa my sister to see if there was anything she could help me with. Nessa is a vet tech and has helped me with Havik in so many ways.
Well What to do now, go home and just watch him cuz he just got hit by a car or keep exercising? He wasn't showing any pain, but he never does, even when he has those weed thorny things that stick into his paws.
So he kept on going and wanted to pull me like normal.
What an awesome dog, he got a bath, some pain pills so he can chill while i am gone working and hopefully when i come home he's still alive.
Drama! and major drama at that.
What an awesome dog I have, I truly believe that if he wasn't a pitbull he would have been smashed and hurt badly, how do I know? I have had a dog die on my that way, our little Oreo got hit by a car too. And Nessa's Jasper got hit by a car too. I was lucky he has a brick for a skull.

Below are the pics of the proof this tough dog went through:(
